Meditation can help you calm your mind, and change your perspective on life. Finding the right meditation can be tricky, as the mind has a way of distracting you. This is especially true of meditation in the beginning of your journey. Over time the mind will quiet but until then the mind will take advantage of your calm and throw stuff at you until you feel like you are doing it all wrong.
I recently found a meditation through my journey as a Reiki practitioner that I believe will help all levels of meditators. Why? Because this meditation doesn’t force you to sit still and think about nothing, on the contrary, you need to think about the words you are saying and what they mean to you. These 5 principles of Reiki when said daily can help you to not only transform your meditation practice, but your whole life. Say these principles daily and watch as your daily interactions change. Repeat the principle that matches any difficult situation you are in. At first you will say it after it happens and slowly you will remember the principles earlier and earlier. Until soon you will be saying the principles BEFORE reacting to stressful situations.
