Manifesting The Good

“Good attracts good”

“Like attracts like”

Cue the obvious response–DUH!— It only makes sense when you put it out like that.  Doing good, having good intentions and having good thoughts naturally will attract more good.  Negative feelings, anger, frustration, jealous, these are going to attract more of the same.

Manifestation is such a tricky concept because it’s not good enough if you are living a good life and treat others well.  If your mind is riddled with negativity, with feeling like you are not good enough or that you do not deserve the things you desire, well the universe isn’t going to respond the way you want.  Even though your actions say that you should be attracting good.

It’s rare to find someone who has a perfect positive mind all the time, so how do we start to manifest abundance?

Good question, here is my take on this…. and it’s not simply that you buy The Secret DVD and make a vision board.

Imagining and feeling what you want and what you will feel like when you receive your desires is very important, but if you are going straight from negative thought to your desired manifestation, I don’t think it’s going to work as well as you had hoped.  It’s missing a key component.


First you need to connect to the stillness of the universe and meditation is a great place to do this.  Connect yourself to the stillness of the universe and THEN begin to visualize what you want to manifest.  Coming at your visualization in the wrong mindset isn’t going to get you what you want, you need to do the prep work so that you are clearly manifesting your desires without it being muddled with your day to day stress.
