We cause stress when we start thinking that we SHOULD be somewhere we are not.

I should have more money, I should not have to put up with this boss, I should be more attractive, she shouldn’t talk to me like that, my body should be perfect, on and on our mind goes. But what we are doing is just causing ourselves stress.

Stop resisting what your life is right now. Be content in your life and no longer look to the future or past should and should nots. Be mindfully present every moment of your life and choose happiness over stress. The quote in the picture is something I read today in Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It’s a must read.
